The Beaches of Lefkada
The impressive beaches in length and beauty are located on the west coast of Lefkada. Sandy beaches and pebbles, with clear waters, when the green reaches the shore, when rocks cut it violently and imposingly, beaches that shock: Ammoglossa, Kastro, Gyra, Ai Giannis, Pefkoulia, Agios Nikitas, Mylos, Kathismos, Gialos and Porto Katsiki that often adorn the front pages and covers of tourist magazines and newspapers in Greece and abroad and their fame has made the rounds of the world.
Porto Katsiki, famous and awarded as the best beach in Greece and one of the most popular in the Mediterranean, is breathtaking at first sight. Steep white cliffs above the beautiful sandy beach and turquoise waters give an image of incredible beauty.
The east and south side of Lefkada, has windless, small and large beaches, with pebbles and crystal clear waters: Desimi, Poros, Ammousa, Agiofylli, Vasiliki.
